In anticipation of starting 6 weeks working nights, my fiancé knew I would need some cheering up.  And probably that she would, too.  So she contacted a local animal rescue and found a lovely woman who fosters kittens.  And we adopted!  TWO!!  Which is probably certifiably crazy given that we already have two grown cats and a dog. But it is making nights so much more bearable to have them ready to cuddle me when I stumble home!

Our little bundles of joy (and tiny teeth) are Rocky and Roo(ster).  Rocky is the devil (pictured), but too cute to be mad at.  Roo is (possibly) mildly MR and just about the sweetest thing ever.  He cries when you leave the room and comes to the baby gate whenever we are in the kitchen and not paying enough attention to them.  Rocky, though, makes it his mission to escape from the unfurnished living room they currently call home as often as possible.  Which has lead to some very fashionable choices in home decor.  Most notably, baby gates with upward extenders of cardboard covered in loose tinfoil taped to the door jams.  Very Homes & Gardens.

Our neighbors may assume schizophrenia.  And I wouldn't blame them.  But these little guys are worth it!
