Last weekend, my lovely fiancé was sad to have missed so many weekends in a row with me (she is a lucky attending, I am a lowly resident), so we planned a marathon weekend (not in the literal sense, thank god) of diners, trash television, kayaking, dinner dates, family, and baseball games.  It was fantastic! By the end I had to sleep through half my shift at work just to recover :)

We are getting married in 275 days (thanks, theknot.com!) at a warehouse in Connecticut.  An adorable steam train runs past our chosen venue and offers dinners and mystery theater events in the summer.  We went for a dinner and had a blast!  The train winds through Connecticut's countryside for 45 minutes, switches tracks, and makes its way back to Essex.  The food was OK, but the view and the people watching were superb.  And the company was alright, too ;)
